John McCafferty

President

Mr. McCafferty joined the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians in April 2012. He has over 24 years of experience in the gaming industry. John started as Assistant Director of the Oregon Lottery. During his tenure at the Lottery he was involved in establishing Oregon’s Video Lottery. He then worked for Aristocrat, Inc. in the office of the President. While at Aristocrat he was responsible for South American Sales as well as Corporate Sales. He moved to Game Tech International as Senior Vice President of Sales and marketing. He then moved to Bally Technologies as Vice President of West Coast sales for Central Determinate and Class II Sales.

Travis Hill is an accomplished business executive with over 20 years of business development, hospitality and gaming experience. As Chief Operating Officer (COO) with Umpqua Indian Development Corporation (UIDC), Travis is responsible for leading the company’s growth and expansion efforts, as well as overseeing operations for nine of the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians businesses, including Umpqua Technologies.

Richard Rader

Chief Technology Officer

Richard Rader is an experienced senior leader in technology. He currently sits on several boards including TribalNet and Gaming and Leisure. He has numerous patents to his name in emerging technologies.

His previous employment, HP, integrated scanning electron microscopes into a factory automation software. Including integrating thirteen different data systems into a single instance of SAP.

While at IGT (International Game Technology) he led projects and products including a smart card system in South Africa leading the seven different engineering teams to deliver the product across the globe.

Richard is a former NCO in the US Army and served in the Persian Gulf War as a Military Policeman where he was injured and subsequently medically retired from the US Army. He enjoys supporting veteran organizations and hosts an annual veterans dinner on July 4th at Seven Feathers Casino Resort.

Aron Ezra

Consultant

Aron Ezra is an innovator and entrepreneur. He has served as CEO of multiple software companies, all of which he grew over 20x and were acquired in multimillion-dollar exits.

His previous company, OfferCraft, won the Platinum Award from the G&L Roundtable for best new technology; was named Startup of the Year by the Best in Biz Awards; was named one of the Top 20 Most Innovative Technologies; and was profiled in over 200 news stories published in places like The New York Times, Forbes, Quartz, and Business Insider. It was acquired by NRT, a Canadian FinTech company that processes over $20 billion annually.

Earlier, as CEO of MacroView Labs, a mobile software startup used by hospitality, healthcare and retail customers, Aron grew the startup into a powerhouse with tens of millions of users, and dozens of industry awards. It was acquired by Bally Technologies (now part of Light & Wonder).

Additional past highlights include serving as an SVP at Hill & Knowlton (part of WPP); and as a Director at The Advisory Board Company, a healthcare consultancy (part of UnitedHealth). As a thought leader on many business and future technology topics, Aron has been invited to give more than 1,000 presentations at industry conferences. He has won dozens of honors, including being named one of the Most Intriguing People in Las Vegas by Seven Magazine, and a Top 10 Rising Business Leader in the city by the Las Vegas Business Press.

Aron is also an investor and advisor to several startups and middle-market technology companies. He has a bachelor’s degree with honors from Princeton.
